In light of the launch of the 2019 Groceries Code Adjudicator (GCA) Annual Supplier Survey, I wanted to contact you personally. The GCA Supplier Survey is a great opportunity for you to provide direct feedback on how you feel Asda is complying with the Groceries Supply Code of Practice (GSCOP), and you can find a link to the Survey here.
We take the results seriously and use them to strengthen our supplier relationships. Last year you told us that we needed to change some of our ways of working – we needed to become more collaborative, transparent and tighten up our back office processes. We acknowledged the need to change the way we do things and in the last 12 months, we have done a lot of work to address those points you raised. Please take a moment to listen to Nick Jones, Asda’s Commercial SVP, on some of the important work we’ve done in response to your feedback. You can find the video below.
Thank you in advance for taking the time to fill out the Survey. It is open from now until the 23 April 2019. The GCA will receive your Survey responses and of course your individual feedback is shared anonymously with Asda.
Our Code Compliance Officer, Sarah Dickson, (who is independent of the Commercial team) is always happy to talk to any supplier who has feedback about how we are performing from a GSCOP perspective. Her contact details are below:
In a year of political uncertainty for our customers Asda’s mission remains to help customers save money to live better. The Asda team and I look forward to a great 2019 alongside you to deliver on this mission for our customers.
