An update on the launch of AMS - Allowance Management System

Dear Suppliers,

 

As communicated in early April, Asda will be replacing the current COOPS and DEALS application with a new one called Allowance Management System (AMS).

 

The new system will provide Asda visibility, accuracy, timeliness in allowance calculation and strengthen reporting.

 

AMS can be accessed via Retail Link and it goes live on July 8, 2019.

 

In preparation for the AMS roll out, here are key dates to be aware of:

  • June 28: Final day for Suppliers to approve any pending COOPs and DEALs requests
  • July 1 to July 5: Continue to submit your commercial documentation to buyers as per your current process. The teams will process these agreements in AMS when the system is live
  • July 8: AMS will go live. Detailed training material will be shared with suppliers along with technical support information.

 

The COOPs and DEALs data will be archived in a system called GLAS that can be accessed by the Suppliers using Retail Link.
