The biscuits are a lightly-spiced currant biscuit that can be left plain or decorated as an Easter activity.
Rowe's bakery is celebrating its 70th anniversary this year and has been supplying Asda since 1992. Jon Foster from Rowe's said: "Tradition is important to us. Our special Easter biscuits are very popular and a great alternative to the more modern Easter treats! Our West Country heritage is rich and fascinating, and we do our best to impart that history into our bakes.”
Phil Goddard, Buying Manager of Local and Regional Foods at Asda, said: "The Easter biscuit is very popular around the West Country and we wanted to make sure that our customers could find traditional Easter products that remind them of home.
“Rowe’s are a wonderful bakery and we are proud to be working with them. We wish them all the best in their 70th year, and hope to continue working with them for many more years to come."
